The official dealer of Royal Enfield, Alpha Automotive Pvt. Ltd., officially launched the Meteor 350 in Nepal. In Nepal, the Meteor 350 is available in three different variants with distinct color options. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 cc has been released again in Nepal in different variants: the Meteor Fireball, Meteor Stellar, and Meteor Supernova. The head showroom of Royal Enfield is located in Naxal. According to the company, the Meteor motorcycle is built on the J platform, which has a good counterbalance for optimum refinement. J Platform is a tried-and-tested engine. Those engines are already used in the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Hunter 350. The Hunter 350 is also a new bike from Royal Enfield.

The Meteor 350 bike was previously sold at a price of 8 lakh, but now the price has been fixed between 550,000 and 565,000 rupees, depending on the variant. The price has come down since the company established its assemble plant in Nepal.

Design: –

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 remains fairly similar to its predecessor (Thunderbird 350X) in terms of styling. This cruiser bike is equipped with an easy-to-reach handlebar and forward-set footpegs which ensures a relaxed and comfortable riding posture. The round headlight assembly comes with a halogen bulb but features LED DRLs for a modern touch. The LED tail lamp and turn indicators are circular as well. The bike features a flowing design with its teardrop-shaped fuel tank cohesively merging with its low-slung split seats. Rounding off its retro appeal are the round handlebar mirrors, which (along with the exhaust pipe) get a chrome finish on higher-end variants.

Engine:

The newly launched Meteor 350 from Royal Enfield is powered by a 349-cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-oil-cooled engine that gets electronic fuel injection (EFI) for better mileage. The company claims that the engine generates 20.2 brake horse power at a maximum of 6100 rpm and a torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. The Meteor 350 comes with a five-speed gearbox.

Suspension, Brakes and Tyres:-

The frame of the Meteor 350 has dual downtube spine suspension, with a front fork measuring 41 mm and rear twin tube emulsion shock absorbers with six steps of preload adjustment. The Meteor 350 gets a 300mm front disc with a twin piston axial caliper and a 270mm rear disc with a single piston floating caliper with dual-channel ABS as standard on the bike. The Meteor 350 gets 100/19-inch tubeless tires on the front section and 140/17-inch tubeless tires on the rear section with alloy wheels, respectively.

Fuel Tank and Ground Clearance:-

The fuel tank capacity of the Meteor 350 is a 15-liter petrol tank, and its weight is 191 kg (kerb). It boasts a wide seat height of 765mm and a substantial ground clearance of 170mm. According to the company, the Meteor 350 gives ~best~-in-class mileage. They claim an average mileage of 40 km per liter.

Colour and Availability:-

The Meteor 350cc is available in different color options in Nepal. The Meteor Fireball 350cc has distinct color options like yellow, red, blue, and matte green, whereas the Meteor Stellar 350cc has the color option of black, blue, and red. Similarly, the Meteor Supernova 350cc gets gray, blue, and red color variants, and they are available at the showroom of Royal Enfield.

Price in Nepal:-

According to the company, the price of the Meteor Fireball 350cc is Rs 550000, the price of the Meteor Stellar 350cc is Rs 5,55,000, and the price of the Meteor Supernova 350cc has been set at Rs 5 lakh, 65 thousand. The booking of all variants has also been opened, the company said.
